Katrina has been painting for as long as she can remember. Her love of art began in her earliest days and continued through school, taking all art classes available. She went on the receive both an Associate’s Degree in Fine Art and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
After obtaining a higher education, Katrina worked as an interior designer and started her own company in 2004. Soon after, she began creating and selling her art at shows and galleries. Her desire to create was always an immense force in her life. In 2017 Katrina decided to focus exclusively on her art career and jumped in heart first. With a studio in Canada and clients throughout the world, Katrina is an independent broker and ships her work, delivers in person, and often travels to meet with clients for commissions. Katrina’s art has been featured on the HGTV show ‘Property Brothers: Forever Home’. Seventeen pieces were filmed for the 2021-2022 season, and over half a dozen have been on the 2022-2023 season thus far. She has been featured on a variety of YouTube channels such as Drew & Linda Scott’s ‘At Home’ and Rosanna Pansino’s channel. She’s had the privilege of creating original art for many other celebrities including Kelley Jakle from the movie ‘Pitch Perfect’, Krystal Neilson from ‘The Bachelor’ series, Maiara Walsh from the ‘Desperate Housewives’ TV show, and Angela Liddon the author of the Bestseller book ‘Oh She Glows’. Clients can select art from existing collections on her website KatrinaDaSilvaFineArt.com, or they can commission custom creations. Tapping into her interior designing experience, tailor-made art evokes a unified and integrated feel to any space. All her art is original, one-of-a-kind, and wholly unique. She hopes that her art infuses peace and joy into the lives of those who experience it. |
